Our Wines


Swinto means " Crow " in millcayac, the language of huarpes, the first inhabitants of the river valley of Mendoza. Similarly, Belasco, in Basque also means Raven, and is Swinto is Swinto Belasco Belasco . A privileged location of our vineyards planted in 1910 in Alto Agrelo, Lujan de Cuyo to 1,020 meters above sea level and a rigorous selection of grapes , with lower yields of 3,000 kgs. per hectare, allowing us to obtain the best expression of the Malbec variety.

 


Swinto shows an attractive deep purple colour. Complex and powerful in the nose, this exuberant wine boats an intense aromatic range of ripe black fruits and jams perfectly assembled with spicy notes provided by the ageing in oak. Flavourful, dense and generous, Swinto delivers an outstanding balance between structure and fruitiness that adds character, power, elegance and a great length to this terrific wine. Serving temperature: 16 - 18ºC.
